    Gateway UNSW

How have I stumbled upon this thread of just pure hate. Gateway exists, cuz people are disadvantaged end of story. Wanna argue against it? Guess what it ain't going anytime soon so deal with it. If you can't get into a course don't be a snowflake just cuz a disadvantaged student can get in. Fgs...

    ATAR Prediction plsplsplspls

Exactly that, most people barely scrape 70s and that's coming from a school ranked in the 300s, that's crazy good.

    ATAR Prediction plsplsplspls

I don't understand you contradict yourself too much. With where he is sitting its clear he is in 96 atar territory especially as people have done midder than him and achieved 93s-95s, so 96 is on the cards why can't he just play them?

    ATAR Prediction plsplsplspls

These guys are waffling a lot. But for real though those are your marks pre-alignment. Since you're sitting pretty well in your cohort your marks should not be affected as much. Btw your marks have not even been aligned yet, with alignment which is affected by 0 factors, don't matter what school...

They look at your year 11 results lol, the whole gateway thing is a fraud IMO my friends all chatpgted the most random stories and got unconditional to high grade subjects due to outstanding year 11 results.

Does school performance affect your ATAR/raw mark?

Does school performance affect your ATAR/raw mark?

Its still probably what he wants to know, he wants to know if his mark moves up or down probs got terminology mixed up.

Does school performance affect your ATAR/raw mark?

Forgot about what the other dude is yapping about if you want to see true subject scaling go on rawmarks.info it should provide a decent explanation for subject scaling. For example in 2023 a 78 in PDHPE would scale to an 90, this was mostly for those who were highly ranked or in a top school...

Does school performance affect your ATAR/raw mark?

School does affect the scaling of your mark. Based on the strength of your cohort your final aligned mark goes up or down and it is also significantly dependant on ranking. The exam mark is the mark you get in the hsc. This does not change so if you get a 95 your exam mark is a 95. So basically...

    (Solved) Early Offer UNSW

Just got a gateway offer before the official release date which literally just says enrol in your course now and receive a 1k payment. Is this conditional or does this mean I got accepted as it says they sent me an offer and I can accept it.

No your literally cooked if even one person gets a really bad mark that would be moderated to be your assessment mark, last ranked always places last. The only thing saving you is other people. Wish you the best of luck dude hopefully your cohort all lock in.

Still possible to get a 70-75 atar?

The carrots mark is not accurate. It's accurate if you rank 1-3 in every subject and have an extremely high assessment mark(above 90s). That thing gives false hope. But don't worry hsc is 50% someone had the same situation as you and got a 90 atar so 70-75 is achievable just lock in lol and...

how much can u work as a uni full time student??

Yea it's doable but you don't have to do 32 hours, honestly, it matters on the job type, if retail 32 hours is manageable, anything food related would be so draining I think even 15 hours is a lot
