My friend has a uai of 60.80 he wants to do a science degree which has a cut off of 60. He would also like to do a med science degree which has a uai cut off 62-65. Would he be able to make it to uni into either degree ?? Thanks !!

hey I was just wondering, if there were about 62000 students sitting the HSC in 2007 (NSW) it is possible for all of them to get into university University of Sydney offers about 30000 places , thats like half of the state students and everyone else could fit into others Universities...

My subjects/ranks were Maths - 20/27 Eng Adv 45/52 Chem 11/17 biology 14/22 Business stud - 11/30 Throughout the HSC i belive i have done considerably well in all my subjects except maths (50 - 60%) Bio, business and chem i think i killed it Eng was okay UAI > 60 ???? Thanks

Hi, this is a friends HSC overall marks, he has done shit , but he still thinks he can get to University, School is not in the top 200. These are his overall marks and rank Maths- 40% 27/27 Adv eng 42% 52/52 Chemistry- 35% 14/16 Biology- 55% 15/22 Business 60% 20/30

For example, if a person Ranked last in all their subjects, (considering they did not go to a top 200 skool), but passed most of their subjects (between 50-60) and failed one or 2 wat would their highest UAI be if they aced the externals (80-90)
