Hmm, I went to no such open day in April and I was sent an invite, but I assumed that was because of Bio Olympiad (practs meant crashing Macleay every other Monday). Anyway, blanket or otherwise, I intend to go.

Yer, screw physics, biology ftw =P After learning Olympiad material one cannot regard the corresponding HSC course in any way but with utter contempt. So be warned.

Re: Science Olympiads That's their choice, I guess. The Phys people I know went and did Med at UNSW/UniMelb; a majority of the Bio people I know did Science or combined variant thereof at USyd.

Re: Science Olympiads They've been making Bio NQEs progressively easier, and now they're just moderately hard rather than OMGWTFBBQ hard. Difficulty: Chem > Phys > Bio
