I thought the exam was great considering i studied alot on the questions in the paper! ussr was cool and same with cold war. The personality question was meh, i didnt do much for part a and friken forgot dates! but part b was easier. Overall, i think it was a good exam =D Now i have two more...

i didnt even know you could get special provisions for anxiety attacks or deppression...like for dep. i know you can not sit for the hsc and get an estimate mark. i thought that s.p is basically for people like the previously mentioned dislexics (i dont know if that how you spell it properly..)...

yep, i wrote about subverting the traditional elements of crime writing and challenging them etc. used the texts the skull beneath the skin and the rear window. its like the changing values of crime writing or the evolving nature of cime fiction...somthing like that...but i focused on...

i reckon the exam was good, the question for crime writing was easy and i came up with a cool story while i was reading. I kind of did too much i think... i wrote 3 booklets and 2 booklets for the story. I crammed ALOT, so much that i guess everything stuck... hope it goes well.

i hate most of the essay questions on the past papers...the one i got for my trial was the best!

lol gosh is it only me who suffers in creative writing but prefers the essays? i am cramming for the essay part atm too...but the thought of writing a creative piece right on the spot in an exam scares the shit out of me...i cant do stuff like that hence the 13/20 for my last creative writing...

I was told by my teacher to know two self selected texts...nothing about three. i think thats fn ridiculous to do more than two. fair enough this is an extended course and harders course than eng advnced, but we shouldnt have to incorporate 5 texts to talk about in an essay...like wtf

lol fair enough. Crime fiction unit has really screwed up crime movies for me...like when i want to just sit and watch a good crime movie, i dont want to go ooo thats a red herring! lol the conventions ruined it for me..i didnt really care that much about conventions but after analysing so...

i just hope that at least one of the english exams wil turn out good and pass well enough to get into the 80s coz i screwed up so much in paper 1! I am cramming for the essay and well with the creative writing response, thats where i fail... is anyone doing crime fiction??

:( i was reading some past forums on ext english exams and it is said that ext english paper will be really hard...not happy... are any of you prepared for the creative writing section?? I have no idea whether i should come up with a story now or just come in and think of it in the exam...
