Hey, I was just wondering if you were able to help me with Lifestyle Chemistry from the senior science course. I need to make an experiment using lifestyle chemistry and test a claim of one of these commercial products (body wash, shampoo, soaps, etc) and design and perform a scientific...

    CSSA trial extension 1

I dont think anyone in my school doing that paper would have scored 100 but very close to it. Im predicting the highest mark to be 96 My friend, who is a maths genius found it a little challenging in some places, especially the binomial question right at the end..which i had no clue about! I...

    CSSA Maths Trial!!

Hey did everyone remember to double differentiate (or alternatively use the table) after finding the value that minimises her time in the marathon? Cos I forgot. Overall, I found it to be easy. Yepp, Q6 definitely the hardest. Q8-10 was fairly simple. I was stuck on the scientific notation...

    Does God exist?

    (1) Why are we describing the nature of propositions? (2) I thought that was pretty simple. The state of relying on or needing someone or something for aid, support, or the like. Etc... (3) It doesnt have to be a being. It is something/someone which we normally refer to as a 'being'

    Does God exist?

Omg. The first thing I said when I joined this thread was that I'd be talking it in terms of (what I believe to be) the two qualitites or similarities between all things that exist. Okay, fine. I shouldnt have used '3 distinct forms'...but come on people...is that seriusly something to rave on...

    Does God exist?

Dude, the only reason I didnt continue the second part of what I believe does prove the existence of a God is because the first part is so damn controvertial. And after all those replies to the 'limited' argument, im sure you'd agree. Theres no point continuing my argument if who im talking to...

    Does God exist?

My point is that all that we preceive is definitely limited. The complications are coming from your side of the argument. Your twisting and turning that one statement I made. I find this more confusing than anything else. We'll be able to alter humanity? Yeah, so what?

    Does God exist?

Dont worry, Im not that type.

    Does God exist?

True. Youll alter the genetic make-up of humans. Youll do that to plants. Youll alter on the atomic and molecular levels. Youll alter the universe. Wow. That doesnt alter the fact that man will still be limited. The universe will still be limited in nature. Man only grows to a certain height...

    Does God exist?

The arguments people use to say that God does not exist assume duality and finiteness. Which are flawed. You cannot apply duality or finiteness to 'The Creator of all that exists' - God. For instance, the periodic table. Did it come about by chance? Then all life on this planet is by chance...

    Does God exist?

No scientist has been able to bring definite evidence that suggests the universe has no limits. So to suggest that it is infinite means we are going beyond the bounds of what we can rationally assess. Sucha thought requires us to challenge ourselves to find any example in our world of preception...
  15. sufyan

    Does God exist?

So your thinking along these lines: "I know that all that we percieve is limited...but how does anything we know necessitate the existence of an unlimited Creator." Correct?
  16. sufyan

    Does God exist?

I know the 'limited-dependant' and 'ad infinitum' arguments may have been used before. But this thread is about 275 massive pages. I read back a bit...but I cant exactly read all 275 pages...so how about a continuation of the philosophical side of proof? Begin by observing all that is around...

    Hello people. God does exist.

    UN envoy hits Israel 'apartheid'

Judaism exisited 2000 years before Islam? What Judaism? Pharaseeic Judaism? Seduceeic Judaism? Samaritan Judaism? Essene Judaism? Which Judaism do you refer to? Bearing in mind the TaNaCh gives many narrations of how 'monotheistic' the Jews were... Clearly, my friend, your academic ability...

    UN envoy hits Israel 'apartheid'

LOL, no evidence in Islamic Science? Your whole religion is based on Islam! RaMBaM (Maimonides for the non Ivrim) used Islamic Jurisprudential Techniques and theology in his compositions MIshneh Torah, Moreh Nevuchim and even the 13 Principles of Faith. Sadly, he used them 400 years after the...
