can someone explain the whole telling the truth thing to me.
We are doing Geoffrey Robertson's Justice Game and i dont understand what it really has to do with 'telling the truth'
also, what would be any good related material to use in this elective?
i have to write an essay on speer as well.
looking on the net i can barely find any relevant information.
How come ive never heard of this guy before when he played such a big part in the war?
we havent done any work on him in class so im going to the library tomorrow to look for books...
you think you have a shitty teacher?
our teacher barely taught us anything on crime, i spent most of class time reading the text book while he was telling the class some stupid law case that had nothing to do with the topic. gay.
hey its not that hard
what are the outragous extemeties?
1)gloucester's blinding
2)Lear's rejection by Gon/Reg
3)Cordelia's rejection from Lear
4)Edmund's betrayal of his father
you can list a lot more too, since king lear is a damn sad story.
But what are the redeeming...
''King Lear is a great story but is difficult to realise in dramatic form''
Explain how you would overcome the problems the text presents to a director. Refer to at least two scenes form the play in detail.
OKAY, how do i approach this question?
do i just write, 'I would do this blah blah...
ive seen past papers where they ask you to write how different directors have used such and such techniques to dramatise differnt themes and aspects of the play.
asking about themes seems a little broad, but i dunno ive only seen that question in a past paper.
