Made me lazy too. I had a notetaker so it was easier for me to miss classes. Hey, couldn't help it, lectures made me fall asleep. I went to the tutes though, didn't wanna fail uni.

I didn't really make friends at uni, they all seemed to keep to themselves, and no one really wanted to talk to me. They did to begin with but once they realised I was deaf, they just kinda didn't wanna talk anymore. :( So I stuck with school friends, known them longer and didn't have to talk...

Lol. I've already got several e-mail accounts with hotmail and yahoo so I don't think I'll bother. Space isn't an issue, but if it is later on, I'll sign over to gmail but if it's an april fools joke then maybe not. I'm just too lazy to inform everyone of my new e-mail address.

My advice is to do everything that will be covered in the exam, and practise writing in a limited time frame, just so you won't be in a rush and practise writing dot points in 10 mins.

I'd say... good luck on defending him... I'd use religious beliefs as a defence. I'd also look up constitutional rights and stuff like that.

English is one of the hardest subjects, it all comes down to a matter of opinion/viewpoint. The teacher usually scribbled a few remarks about why I did so badly or they just explain to the class... but if you got ripped off, just ask the teacher.

Is this for reading an article on Qantasr and answering questions or is this for writing an essay on it?

I read the book and found it quite boring, but this might have been because I didn't understand it... I watched a bit of the movie, and it seemed a little more entertaining but not really interesting for me.

I love that movie, it's 4 hours long but it's a great spellbinding drama and set in such a dramatic time - America's Civil War. I plan on getting this on DVD.

Wouldn't those be in your textbooks? Or in paper handouts from the teacher? If not, go and look in some business textbooks, they should have the information you need.

Easy. Read the book. Lol. Just find links between the two and constantly refer to them, and compare them but don't make the essay completely about it. Write a bit on what physical journeys are and then point out the obvious and not so obvious comparisons. Ask your teacher for advice as well.

No introductions, research a little of the background of the author and apply that to the poem, if possible... work on finding links in the poem to every day life (or whatever situation the poem is set in) and a pattern to the poem... that kinda thing. Well, at least, that's how I got the best...

Lol. There's just no correcting tutors sometimes, they know their stuff. In English tutorials, it's best because then we can offer our own viewpoints on a particular poem or story, and it CAN differ from the tutor's viewpoints. But in fact finding tutorials, it's hard to argue with the tutor...
