I haven't heard the new shit, but I adore Mer De Noms.

Opeth, Type O Negative, Black Sabbath, Emperor, Satyricon, My Ruin, old Slayer, Children of Bodom, Guns n Roses, A Perfect Circle, etc etc, as well as many industrial artists. I love industrial, classic metal, black metal, melodic death, thrash...the list is endless.

Brushfire Fairytales is a winner. I love Bubble Toes, Inaudible Melodies etc...I find Jack Johnson a little too detached/disappoinate for my personal taste, but he's a good songwriter.

Hole, Type O Negative, Opeth, The Doors, Guns n Roses, The Dirty Three, Jane's Addiction, P.J. Harvey, The Velvet Underground, Leonard Cohen, Sublime, Black Sabbath etc ...some of those bands are metal, but nonetheless great!

I'm doing my HSC over 2 years ("pathways") and am currently doing English Advanced and Extension 1, and like them both..should I do English Extension 2 next year? What will it involve, how hard is it, is it rewarding...please fill me in. :apig:

I'm doing A Doll's House, P&P and the Browning poems also, I think all the texts are pretty cool. A great related text : "Women and Marriage in the 19th century" by Joan Perkin. It covers all areas (politcal, social, religious etc) and really delves into nineteenth century ways of thinking. :)

mmmmm Johnny Depp was unbearably sexy in P.O.T.C....and he was hilariously convincing as a pirate too!! "That's interesting" :D
