    Levi's

:S female! i tried to work it out myself, and by the looks of it, sz 3 in the US = sz 8 here :| i don't know how wrong or right i am though

    Levi's

i was just wondering if anyone knew the difference in sizing for Levi's say, a 26" here is equivalent to sz 8 in the US, a sz 8 - waist measurement is 32" is that the same as AUS sizing then? i'm so confused :S i don't know why but i keep having the image that sz 8 here would be smaller...

    King Lear

i disagree - there is A LOT to the feminist readings, you just need to do your research :) reversal roles would be one of the more obvious arguments, which definitely would not separate you from the rest of the candidates

Powerplay in Curse of the Golden Flower

there is an abundance to talk about with this film - you said it yourself even :) maybe start with the main ideas, such as characterisation - if you look at the emperor for instance, you can build easily upon that - such explicit links to powerplay also, setting is key to the ideas of...

    first year - extra UoS??

yeah, i'm going to drop it altogether but then i'd have to pick up a subject in place of it, right? nothing else really interests me, i'd love to learn a language though... thing is, all the language subjects running in 2nd semester require you to have completed 1st semester unit of study...

King Lear assessment task... need help.

for the storm scene, note the way Lear's sense of self is explicitly linked to his possessions what he has, or rather what he does not have in the storm scene, Shakespeare is attempting to externalise Lear's innerself if Marxism is about 'things', and the storm scene shows Lear going...

    Integration and order of texts

that would be the typical approach, though if you find that it flows better with what you have now, i wouldn't change it whatever works best, there's no set guideline

    Thematic concerns

start off with topic sentences, then link two texts through that to take an integrated approach so, say you start off with saying journeys are a result of certain catalysts, or whatever you propose, then go on to talk about techniques, provide evidence, then link it to the second text and see...

    Do we need the wild?

i'd start off with defining what 'the wild' is and then, from there, argue it out there isn't a 'right' or 'wrong' answer, just so long as you can back up your claims with evidence goodluck!

structure has to do more with the foundations of the text - the fundamentals, in other words conventional structure - Aristotelian - beginning, middle, end unconvential/postmodern structure - no clear distinctions style has to do more with HOW the text is created what are the features...
