Q- Did you find a topic?

Has anyone by chance taken any of the gender or cultural studies units if so any good or should i give it a miss? I am a little wary as I haven't done anything with that department before and I dont want to sign up for a semester of torture

Do any other 3rd years know if we have to sign up for prac placements yet? they said they would email us yet when i looked at the website the dates have seemed to already have closed? So have i missed it or has there just been a mistake on the website?

i found ecop1003 highly enjoyabe, quite intresting topics and gives a nice view of trade/finance in a international context, bill is quite a nice guy aswell, the assessments i found were fairly easy, with bill telling you pretty much exactly whats in the exam in the last few lectures, i think...

Not that i know of, but you can always contact the faculty to find out and view your paper, but this can be a bit of a hassle, they also have days were you can go in a view your exam but this is only for a few subjects but i think those days would be over now but you should check blackboard/webCT.

Some of the accounting lectures have BIG issues about you walking out early, as in the stop the whole lecture, point out the person leaving and remark about how if you leave even 5min early you will surely fail the whole course:rolleyes:

I overloaded last semseter. It was do-able but it takes alot out of you, I had a 9hour day without breaks that almost killed me. But you just have to use your time wisely and you should be fine. Im guessing its not your first year so you be ok overloading.
