i would like to know about this too. unlike you, i've enrolled into the classes and have an existing timetable, so i'm definitely hoping that it won't affect my feb round offer (which i have received and intend to accept this friday). i did ask about this when i called unsw up last week...

according to the unsw website, it pretty much means that the particular course/unit will not contribute to your degree as stated here: and you're welcome, glad it was of help :)

i would love for it to be wrong for usyd. however:

i read on the usyd website that usyd will not consider you if you received an offer which was your first preference in the main round. my question is this: does this apply to all other universities?

would you recommend deleting the first pref from the list too? (the first pref being the one received and accepted in main round)

ooh, this. i'm sort of on the same boat as you are, and would LOVE for an offer to intl & global too. what i did was change intl & global to my first preference and perhaps you should too - on the basis that there may still be vacancies (well, i'm definitely hoping! it's published to be full...

just called UAC and they said that it's fine to enrol too, so. hm. yeah.

ohhhkaayy, i just called UNSW again and was told that it's fine to enrol whilst waiting for a possible offer from another uni. oh, all this conflicting information D:

oh dear, i certainly hope not as far as i know, it will diminish your chances in getting the timetable you most prefer, seeing as you may be left with bad time slots that no one wants
