Don't forget about uni of newcastle it has a similar threshold system as UWS and i think the ATAR is around 93. I havent used any of my chemistry knowledge so far, well not that ive noticed anyway. Biology was a bit useful for the first course but nothing that cant be learnt from the lecture...

honestly asking about how hard it is to achieve a certain mark isnt going to help you..just knuckle down and study but maintain a bit of balance too... so if that means going to some 18ths in yr 12, go for it.. ur mark only matters for uni, once ur in you basically forget all about the HSC...

no. sorry to be blunt but pls use ur common sense. If you study at home, listen in class, and are a bright student you do NOT need tutoring. There are numerous threads on this topic, search around..

the acer prac materials are alot easier than the actual exam though.. S1 in particular is easier. From experience i wouldn't bother practicing S1/S2 extensively as they aren't really something you can improve on. S2 is easy as, so maybe look at some of the questions to get a feel for them and...

also an important tip to remember is don't spend too much time on one question. If you cant figure it out within a minute or so, make a reasonable guess by cancelling out the obviously incorrect answers and move on, because as freshofftheboat said the time constraints are a challenge.
