Can you explain further why your friend felt it wasn't for him? Was there alot of people selected into training school or were there a cut off limit?

Thanks for the detailed information, do you know whether there is certain criteria you have to meet in the first interview in order to be chosen for a second interview and if you are chosen for the second interview does that basically mean you've been chosen into training school?

Thanks everyone for your replies, I did end up calling to check on my application and were told to go to one of the briefings next week.

I'm wondering if anyone here has applied for the next training school which starts on 30th June. I've applied on 20/5/09 and got an email back 2 days later saying thanks for my application and suitable applicants will be contacted. I've yet to receive a call to go in for an interview...
