    Should I repeat year 12?

You can always do PG Med...I (like most others) say enrol in a Bsc or BMedSci, work hard and get a brilliant GPA, then go into Med. The undergrad will train you to think like a uni student, develop your work ethic and assignment skills and prepare you for the postgrad, plus it will give you...

    Choosing electives

You can choose any subjects you like, even if it's random. I had a friend doing Medical Science who did Design electives. To search for electives: Timetable Information Click on the session you want, then the schools that you may be interested in studying in. A list will come up, narrow...

    Choosing electives

An open elective can be any unit, as long as you fulfill the prerequisites for that unit. I chose units from the School of Social Sciences and School of Humanities and Languages for my first year electives, so they do not need to be School of Psychology ones. Of course, you can do psych ones...

How do I go about with this offer please help

You can accept the first round offer and withdraw your acceptance if you receive a more desirable offer in later rounds. I did this in early 2008 between main and late round. Don't let the first offer expire. If you do not accept it and do not get any more offers, you'll have no offer at all...

    Pizza Delivery

Depends on the company you work for...my ex worked at a family owned pizza shop and got 3 dollars per delivery on top of his hourly rate to cover fuel. I have seen Domino's company cars used for deliveries, but not sure if this is always the case.

good impression/instant job handing in resume?

I do pass all resumes on, unless they've left a really bad impression. Even if they don't meet selection criteria (retail experience + drivers licence) I'll pass it on...and then my boss will throw it in the bin :S. If a manager isn't in, ask for the most senior staff member on duty.

    Backpack or satchel/manbag for uni

I use my car boot. Between my car and class (perhaps a few hundred metres walk) I use my normal handbag and a big Ripcurl envirobag for my books. If I caught public transport to uni, I would probably care though...

Do offers next week really come out at 9 PM?

I remember the year I checked, I couldn't get into UAC until 10:30. It was a looooong wait.

good impression/instant job handing in resume?

Be confident, outgoing and dress like you would if you were representing the brand. Appearance is paramount. Show that you have knowledge of the company (their history, culture, etc). You'll need to know about add-ons, upsaling, and feature/benefits of products too, they may ask you how to...

TPC: Attendance and Scaling of B modules

I was upset in my year as well, a girl who only got 210 for her TES got into my original preference, whereas I got 250 and didn't get in. She was 21, I was 19, that was the only difference. It's OK though, I worked around these things and am on the way to finishing my undergrad. Don't let it get...

Choosing Unit Sets for ABL Course..?? Help?

^ Is it? I'm in the Key Program of Psych obviously, but I've got mates in Humanities and Languages KP, with English, Text and Writing majors and History submajors. The BA Program has changed since last year, which could be why.

B Arts Path to Masters Teaching.

A B Arts (pathway) is exactly the same as a B Arts, except you take extra subjects about education, and then do an accelerated masters of teaching at the end. You either have two options: complete the normal BA, then enrol in a Masters of Teaching which is 18 months full time, or transfer to...

    BA unit selections

The levels relate to the degree of difficulty and level of education undertaken. For example, level 4 and onwards are usually restricted to honours or postgraduate students. Level 1 will be a foundation unit (meaning no prerequisite knowledge) whereas level 2 or 3 will require it (although there...

Choosing Unit Sets for ABL Course..?? Help?

The KPTESTAMUR will mean your Key Program. SUBMAJOR will mean Submajor. Not sure about SEQUENCE, haven't seen this one before. As far as I can understand, a unit set is like your sequence of subjects to do for a key program, major or submajor. A Key Program is an area of concentration or...

Hah, depends. I'm happy with UWS, could transfer if I wished to though. I'm either looking at doing honours in psych or a grad diploma in HR management. Still deciding throughout this year though.

    Timetables

For some subjects more than one lecture time runs, which is why they have the lecture registering option. Tutorial registration times are here: Tutorial Registration | University of Western Sydney (UWS) Good tutorial times can go in a matter of minutes, so it's a good idea to log on a...
