What album(s) did you listen to today?

I haven't made it a whole play through In Rainbows yet, mostly because I'm still addicted to Roisin Murphy and her new album. But really, when did Thom Yorke's voice turn crappy? Sounds like he's trying to do a falsetto but can't pull it off or something.

    Official Anticipated Album Releases

Roisin Murphy's new album has leaked and I'm just listening to it now. Unfortunately so far (only two tracks in, so may be a bit premature) it seems like typical dance-pop, however her voice is still magical.

What album(s) did you listen to today?

Die todliche Doris - Kinderringellreihen Fur Wahren Toren des Grals It's a compilation album and it's pretty much the only one that was available on slsk at the time. It's really strange, occasionally catchy early industrial music, and the cover of Warm Leatherette caught me off-gaurd.

Best songs of 2007 so far?

So did Waters of Nazareth, technically :P And i forgot about Dizzee Rascal, I'll have to give that album a listen. It's good but I'd probably rate it as their least consistent album (but I'm one who loved "They Were Wrong..." and many disliked that so...). The two songs I listed are...

    sonic youth

I love going through phases like that with bands, when you don't want to listen to anything but them for days on end. I've listened to their self-titled EP as well, it was very awesome considering it was only 6 songs or whatever...Burning Spear is classic.

What album(s) did you listen to today?

Yeah, to me songs like Derek and Cuckoo could sound way crazier than they actually do on the album. The studio-ness of it isn't all bad - I thought Safer was one of the best songs they've released. And ahh, I was so pissed when I missed their show here, it was the night before not one but two...
