I'm currently at a Unilodge (Davey Lodge), personally I love it. Definitely getting better on the community side this year.
It's one TV per apartment, so studios get their own, but 5 shares have the TV in the common area, etc.
I'm guessing a big mark question on Nuclear chemistry, just got a feeling
In the last few years they've asked for an Australian scientist in biology, so also predicting that in this year or the next few. We could just talk about Alan Walsh and AAS though?
Best way is just to forget about the English exam until you get your results :) Doesn't matter now, can't change what you did.
But as long as the question was similar and you did a few good paragraphs, you should get okay marks for it.
Oh wow, another year of specified speech :( The one I was least confident with too.... I'll just go burn everything English related now
EDIT: Specified Faith Bandler's speech incase anyone is wondering.
Personally I doubt they'll do a question the same as last years, but just in case, PM me your email and I'll send you some really quick summaries I made of each speech.
Loved the essay question, fitted perfectly with my essay. Creative was a bit iffy, and short answers were nothing shocking. Overall, a pretty fair test.
Almost lol'd when I read Papa though,
I'm a bit half half personally, memorise quotes/techniques, occasionally wordings of arguments etc, but generally adapt quotes/techniques I have to a new question everytime.
And I know many Band 6's from my school didn't memorise essays.
So you can tell a humanities teacher decided my schools timetable, somehow they decided it would be a good idea to put Physics in the morning and chemistry in the afternoon..
Edit: Mind you, a draft version had both English papers on the same day, so that wasn't a smart move either...
