I did 14 units (EE2, MX2, Legal, Ancient & Modern), got 97.25. Do what you feel comfortable with in terms of workload and in terms of ATAR goal (especially in Yr 12). Personally, I'd do as much as you can in Yr 11.
Just a question to anyone doing their exams at their school (as opposed to an external venue), couldn't you just pay a Yr 7 kid to stand outside the hall/room and yell in facts/formulas/quotes/etc?
If I was desperate to cheat, that's how I would go about it...
Re: Does anyone else feel as though, these past few weeks have been going soooo slow!
Most definitely... three more exams (legal is my last one), but after Ancient on Thursday... blah.
I don't think they would/can- if I remember correctly there are 5 texts in the module (I do Romanticism too!) and you have to study 3, so if they did specify a text there is a chance that neither of us would have studied it...
I think Modern History has more content, more issues and is just plain harder (I do both). Look at the syllabuses for each topic: Modern syllabuses have key features and issues as well as a list of dot points. Ancient just has dot points.
Re: Small numbers
You can count the number of people who did Ex 2 Maths at my school over the last two years on one hand. You'll need less hands to count the amount of E4s we get ...
I'm rural! (Far North Coast)
The lack of resources is a little bit annoying, but my teachers are really dedicated... smaller classes are good too (ranked first in 14 units)!
I'm hoping for 90+ ATAR, but hopefully AAA scholarship and bonus points will make up for a lower score if that...
