I agree. I went into cash office a few weeks ago at the end of the day (around 6.30) to pack up tills, and noone had been in there since about 4pm ish. I noticed a message that had been there since around 4.15. Now obviously nothing drastic had happened and I'm sure it was an accident, but...

pathetic little bells on approx half the registers ;) and there's a button on the screen that you can not-so-discretely press to call a supervisor, but i wouldn't be relying on that.

    Rules for Customers

similar to what meilz92 said dear customer i understand that you're pissed off because you think we're scamming you and all. but don't stand in front of my eftpos terminal so noone else can use it, and then get angry when i ask you to step two steps to the left. thanks, me.

Thats pathetic. There are days when we have to ring our entire phone book trying to replace shifts, so to not be able to call/to only call landlines would be impossible.

I cannot imagine the service desk phone not being able to make outgoing calls. How is this even plausible?

    SDA: How to quit?

At my induction, they just gave the SDA form to us as if it was any other one. It wasn't explained that it was optional AFAIK, so everyone just 'joined'.

That particular day there would have been one produce assistant on the floor, and possibly someone in meat - thats it. Everyone else was on checkouts. I just remembered that I forgot to sign keys and draws in last night, oops :haha:
