    going to gym

i pay $30 per fortnight at a ymca gym ( as a student though). i wouldn't say mine's a little gym though, its got a full set up and could possibly rival a fitness first type centre. of course, not all ymca gyms are like that.

yeah that sounds fair enough. just that my csm actually left the service desk last week to take someone to asian foods . so wasn't too sure what the requirement for that was, perhaps saying "halfway down aisle 7" is not good enough.

What size did you order? Just wondering coz I'd think we'd be about the same size plus the total image size chart is whacked.

    Rules for Customers

When I'm on the floor I will generally walk the customer down to the item. Just being the only person supervising on front end is a bit of a problem :haha:. And I agree re EDR - thats what I do.

Yeah when I actually saw the plain one on someone last week it really washed her out. Get your SSM to hurry them up, in the meantime they may give you a spare from HR since you've been waiting so long (well they offered that for me).

Mystery shopper is the biggest joke ever. I plan on asking my SM if, when at the service desk, I ACTUALLY have to walk them to whatever stupid aisle the customer is asking about. My store fails mystery shopper pretty bad. No baskets, nightfillers who didnt know a whole lot, no EDR =...

looks like pyjamas to me. No one bar our csm wears the vest, so I doubt the rest of us will be wearing the management/supervision shirt. IMO, a better idea to identify people as supervisors/managers would be to give them a separate name badge - ie Townie Customer Service Manager or...

    going overseas after the hsc

With actual enrolment, whether you have to go in person depends on the uni. For example, I think at USyd you have to line up and do it all in person, but at my uni EVERYTHING is done online. Also, if you are overseas and you enrol at a uni where it needs to be done in person, you can nominate...

I guess you just have to keep trying. Unfortunately at this time of the year they just have so many applicants, some years stores will need heaps of staff and others not so much. For instance, my store has kept all of its easter staff, so we're not hiring massively. But I do feel for you...

    Commerce (go8 vs the rest)

Next semester. Unfortunately prioritised my pols unit this semester, I've been interested in HR for a while but never really saw myself studying commerce. So doing management in summer, then comm law next semester, already done (doing) econs and accounting can fit in somewhere along the line...
