i agree with this. what i got out of ruby moon is, because there are only 2 actors playing all of the characters, and there is the constant reference to the book, maybe the situation is all a fictional tale, and there was never a girl, or a flaming tree grove, or any of that.

I am also working on Ruby Moon and Stolen. With Ruby Moon, I would recommend starting with, as AbsoluteZero said, a statement about Australian theatre. Then you might want to go througha couple of dramatic techiques that are used in the plays, and also speak about how they are both episodic pieces.
