I wanted to get into a particular course with ATAR cut-off 83.75 so when I added the bonus points to my ATAR, I got 83.55 which is only 0.25 below which sucks.
I already applied for EAS so I was hoping it could help add additional points to boost my ATAR, but does anyone know when or how it...
What kind of ATAR could a person with the following HSC marks overall would get?
English Advanced: 30%
Biology: 80%
Chemistry: 70%
Mathematics: 80%
Ext 1 Maths: 60-70%
Italian Continuers: 70%
But then, by how much would the ATAR increase if the person ended up getting 90%...
I know that I'm gonna get <30 for Advanced English, but I usually get around 70 for Chemistry, Biology, and Italian continuers and 90 for 2U maths and <50 for 3U maths.
I'm predicting that my ATAR would be around the 70s but would the low mark from english completely drag it down to 40s?
What if I got band 3 for English
and then band 5 for Italian continuers, maths ext 1, chem, and bio
and ban 6 for 2u maths
What would my hsc ban calculate to?
( I hate English =_=)
School rank: 297 - 319
English Advanced: 56/65
Maths 2U: 12/59
Maths 3U: 15/18
Chemistry: 15/41
Biology: 9/61
Italian: 2/5
My main concern is English...I'm afraid that my low rank will pull my school-moderated assessment mark. :/
Will it actually pull down my...
I've got my documents and everything and I know that I have to go to someone like my local pharmacist to get it verified. What does 'verify' actually mean in this case? Do they need to write anything on the documents? Apparently I gave my documents to him and asked him to verify it and he...
So apparently an ATAR is determined by the average of the HSC raw mark and the moderated assessment marks from school.
I'm aiming for at least a 90 ATAR (in my parents' views anything under 90 is a fail)
So if my moderated assessment mark happens to be in the 60-70s, I would need to achieve...

"Metal reactions can be related to the activity series. For example:
the metals from K to Pb react with dilute acids releasing hydrogen gas
the metals from K to Mg react with liquid water
the metals from Al to Ni require water to be in the form of steam before reacting."
Do we need to know...
Find the equation of the locus of a point that moves so that it is equidistant from the line 4x - 3y + 2= 0 and the line 3x + 4y -7 = 0
The answers are: x - 7y + 9 = 0, 7x + y -5 =0
Find the equation of locus of a point that moves so that its distance from 3x + 4y + 5 = 0 is always 4 units.
The answer is 3x + 4y + 25 = 0, -3x + 4y - 15 = 0
Thanks. :)
Find the equation of the locus of a point that moves so that it is equidistant from point (2,-3) and line y=7
The answer is x^2 - 4x + 20y -36 = 0
I remember being able to do this before but it's been ages since I've done it, so I've kinda forgotten.
A little help would be great. :)
I know the requirements for Module A and C but my teacher hasn't gone through what Module B is. I've looked it up on the BOS website and there's a whole list of texts that "students" had to choose to talk about in the exam for Module B.
Can anyone elaborate on how it works?
Thanks.
I forgot that I had to soak the potting mix with water then let it dry for an hour before putting seeds into the cup. So...the soil would have been only damp at the surface while the rest of the potting mix is fairly dry...and I only needed to the seedlings to sprout so I could record results...
