I got the same problem. I can see myself doing so many things but i cant pick which id enjoy most and thus suit me best. So right now money is influencing my choice the most.

Is the finance Co-op harder to get into than the Acutarial studies Co-op?

they were saying alot of the people in the acturial studies Co-op program have UAIs over 99.5. To actually do actuarial studies (not co-op) requires a UAI of 93 (at UNSW).

How many people usually get into the Adv Maths program each year??

I was placed in the 97th percentile The group interview was a joke, its just there so they can see how you present yourself and communicate. I've got a interview with the local myers down here:) oh and before you actually do the online test they give you practice questions so ull be fine.

Isnt there going to be heaps of sponsor companies for the actuarial studies co-op program this year? The number of "current" Finance sponsor companies have gone down:(

Well apparently 5/6ths of the people that apply get interviews.... I heard the UAI average for the 2005 or 2004 co-op finance program was 99.7, im probably gonna be in the 98's and my extracurricular activities arent that great so i aint gonna have much of a chance of actually getting in. I...

Go to ANU, do B actuarial studies/B commerce, you can choose to major in accounting through the commerce degree.

no it does apply to actuarial studies, but only for a single degree, so it wont work on say actuarial and finance. I think its 5 extra point for Actuarial studies.

wow only 1 or 2 from our school got interviews, but alot who applied had ests of 99. For the guys who got an interview, what was your uai estimate??
