So, who noticed the two mistakes on page 18?

i have the exam, and there is no reference whatsoever to ASCII or EBCDIC in the question. i was also wondering what the point actually is in converting the bits to hex, as it makes no difference to the amount of bits needed to store the information. in other words, i think what most people did...

So, who noticed the two mistakes on page 18?

haha, thanks for the explanation. i still don't get how D31FD24A can equal 8 bits, though. i know there's 8 symbols, but you need more than 1 bit to store each symbol, don't you? lol, maybe i should just stop thinking about it :P

    General exam thoughts?

if that's the case, then I hope they get re-marked. also, that's stupid that they dont display ceramics. what's the point of allowing them if you can't display them if you get a good mark? either way, good luck, and i hope you get a fair mark for your work

    General exam thoughts?

8 pages! wow. i wrote 5.5, but im happy with that. i wrote 4.5 in the trial and still got 24/25 for it, plus the teacher who marked it was a HSC marker. quality over quantity i guess (not to say you cant have both! lol) the essay was easy, i did Q8, similar to the trial. Structural frame is sooo...
