How will you commute to UNSW?

Me too! From the exact same station as well. O_o I'm contemplating whether or not to change at Epping because apparently it arrives at Central earlier than the direct train...

    Subject Advice

Ah sorry my bad - swap "general maths" for "mathematics" in my previous post :) And yes but those 10 highest scoring units are affected by scaling, so after scaling, the subject you acquired the highest mark in may not be the subject with the highest scaled mark. Links I have none - I never...

what subjects do i pick for yr 11 and 12

I'd personally take out point 3, 4 and place an emphasis on 1. I think it doesn't matter how 'hard' you consider the subject to be - it all really depends on your personal aims. If you like your subjects enough you're bound to put enough effort into it, resulting in getting decent grades.

    Subject Advice

There's no certainty that general maths will be excluded in your ATAR (if you keep it) either - there have been cases where the subject with the lowest mark got countered in contrast to the subject with the highest mark.

    them Sydney Trains moments

Re: them cityrail moments A (possible) schizephrenic on the northern line usually wearing a pair of headphones but starts screaming "shut up" or loud cries and then whimpering inbetween stations.

Is it possible to get 90 Atar with these subjects?

It's possible but probably a bit of work. I'd aim on doing as well as you can, particularly in physics but also be really all rounded and doing well in every subject. School rank can't limit you if you're ranked well within your subjects (I'd say top 5...)

How often do they do this?

Not sure about debate, but past HSC has asked for a module to be written as a 'conversation' but I think that was quite a few years back now.

    Advanced English?

I know people who got band 6 in Eng in SC and stuffed Advanced Eng HSC. I also know those who got band 4 and did Advanced and gunned it. ^This.

    Who will you vote for?

Huzza! Well, I can vote and that is the plan. Although currently it's the choice between a government in power that has idiots like Conroy as part of the cabinet or a party in disarray because they can't decide if they want to make the environment just a little bit more sustainable or not. I'm...

    American Politics

We'll have to see. The election may or maynot be exciting. Obama's health reform seems to be passing so we'll have to see how that pans out. I think the democrats have... what 58? 60 seats? Republicans need to gain alot of seats back. I don't want Palin to run at all. The horrors- That woman is...

How often do they do this?

Was predicting that the questions this year would be really general but at least one of the module would be a text type besides essay - particularly speech. Obviously not. Place prediction for '10.

    American Politics

Nah. If Palin wants to run, her party might not necessarily want her to, primarily due to that tonne of grassroots support she has. If Obama does well in his first term, it's going to be fairly hard for the second term to be wrought away from him. If Palin loses, she probably won't run for 2016...
