Yeah, I checked that possibility as well; would take an extra hour or so to use the Princes Hwy, but if the northern route is cut, that's the only way to go I guess. Hope they have it under control by then.

Got one today....for a fkn double studio apartment in Kinloch...$380/week which is the highest rent that they charge of all the apartments offered =.= Btw emiline, how did you word your email to get your offer revised? I just sent one off to them, but I'm not too sure I struck the right tone.

Haha, same here. I went over the word limit, and even then, I was trying to use as many abbreviations as possible. My ENTER (UAI) was also in the mid 99's, so I guess it wasn't my UAI that killed my application. Kinda depresses me, really. I wonder what kind of over-achiever it takes to get...

Hmm...just wondering how people got into Bruce. Surfing the ANU forum for the past 8 days since offers came out, I've heard of ONE non-international student get into Bruce. Kinda makes you wonder what you needed to get into Bruce. I think someone mentioned gender/degree/interest balancing...

Ahh...that's no good; lack of parental support is a bit...difficult, esp these days. Also, if you check the prices on the UL site (and I'm guessing/HOPING we're getting Kinloch), getting a 5 room multishare or a 6 room multishare is about 11k, which is about 300 less than most of the other...
