Should I do mechanical or mechatronic?

I realise that it's wishful thinking to believe that the degree will certainly get me a job at NASA or similar. I just thought it sounded interesting, and that I may as well. I guess my problem is that I have no experience with computers, so I don't know if I'll like it. I think I'll take...

Should I do mechanical or mechatronic?

Nononono, I didn't mean it like that. Doing mechanical (with its lower ATAR) and then transferring up into mechatronic (with its higher ATAR) would be considerably more difficult than doing it the other way around. I spoke to the lecturer about this, and he suggested I do mechatronic for this...

Should I do mechanical or mechatronic?

Hi guys. This year I'm going to do a combined engineering/science degree at USYD, and my ATAR is high enough to do any engineering stream I like. I am particularly interested in the 'space' streams - specifically mechatronic and mechanical - but I'm not sure which one to choose. On one hand...

    Parents reaction to ATAR?

I put my marks in the calculator, and my mum said "Oh, I wouldn't get your hopes up, you're not going to get that." And the very next day, I got the exact same ATAR as predicted (99.55)... I showed her XD My parents were very happy, but they weren't bouncing off the walls or anything. My best...

Matrix: 99.60 Einstein: 99.55 I quite honestly was expecting 97-98... but I guess a 100 in mathematics does that, eh?

    ArtExpress Nominations?

I did. And a few days ago, a lady called me to ask if one of the galleries was allowed to digitally alter one of my sketches for use in promotions material should I get in.

The mass extermination of humans to maintain acceptable standards of living

VHEMT I am a follower of the above movement, as it seems to be a relatively less violent and/or messy means of achieving the same goal. However, this would be hard to enforce, and we have an ageing population as it is. But by all means, yes, destroying all humans seems to be a good route to...

    Anyone into photography?

Anyone here into film? I've got a really old Canon EOS 300 (film) which I picked up on eBay for $45. It's awesome, but it's quite hard to buy decent film these days.

I need an interesting manga to read

I recommend this excellent horror manga called Uzumaki. It's about this two in Japan which is plagued by this curse thing, in the shape of a spiral. The drawings are excellent, and the ways of killing off characters are really quite creative. If you're into that kind of thing, go for it.
