Need help for DOT POINT 1.5.2

Why are you using the Torque formula? I don't understand, it's asking for force.

Need help for DOT POINT 1.5.2

Dot Point 1.5.2 part (c) The diagram shows a horizontal 10cm square loop carrying 1.5 A in a magnetic field of strength 0.25T c) Predict the force on side AC of the loop if it was made into a coil with 50 turns. Side AC is 90 degrees to the magnetic field. I used F=lIB So F = 0.025 x 1.5 x...

    2.8.1 Dot Point Help!

Wait I think I know now, its F=ma then you minus 9.8 (from gravity).

    2.8.1 Dot Point Help!

I don't think doing f=ma is right since there is another similar question and it has a completely different answer. Dotpoint 2.8: Analyse the changing acceleration of a rocket during launch in terms of Law of Conservation of Momentum and the forces experienced by astronauts.

    2.8.1 Dot Point Help!

Well the answer has something different. Can someone clarify if the answers is wrong or not? I have a feeling it has something to do with momentum though.

    2.8.1 Dot Point Help!

The answer says its 10.2m/s^2, not 8000/400m/s^2

    2.8.1 Dot Point Help!

A rocket has mass 400kg, 75% being fuel. It develops a thrust of 8000N. Calculate its initial acceleration. How do I do this?

Physics Dot Point 1.6.4 part (b)

But GPE is a negative value so doesn't mean the larger the negative value, the smaller it is?

Physics Dot Point 1.6.4 part (b)

Ok Thanks! The next Question as well: 1.6.5 a) Three spacecraft having masses m1>m2>m3 are in the same stable orbit around planet X. Compare their gravitational potential energies and justify your answer. Isn't the GPE: m3>m2>m1 but the answers have it the other way around? And god I spent so...

Physics Dot Point 1.6.4 part (b)

Physics Dot Point 1.6.4 part (b) I don't understand how to do this. Heres the question: Satellite X has its orbit around Earth changed from an altitude of 10,000km to 20,000km. Satellite Y has its orbit around Earth changed from an altitude of 20,000km to 30,000km. Both satellites have a mass...

    Physics Dot Point Help

2.7.3 Calculate the acceleration of a proton on an electric field of strength 4.0 x 10^-5. The charge on a proton is 1.6 x 10^-19 and its mass is 1.67 x 10^-27 I'm not sure how to do this question. Can someone please explain? The answer is 3832 m/s^2

    Chem - Redox Reactions Help

Im not very good at redox reactions and I just wanted to make sure I done these right: Write the half-equations for these and label each as oxidation or reduction: 1. Zn + Cu^2+ --> Zn^2+ + Cu 2. Cl2 + 2I^- ---> I2 + 2CL^- 3. Mg + 2H^+ --> H2 + Mg^2+ Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Listening to Music while doing work

Is listening to music while studying a good thing? I usually get a bit into the music too much and get distracted from work so I'm not sure. But anyone got any good recommendations for music? I listen to rock mostly.

    Online Study Group

Music 1 is sooo easy that you only need about 1-2 hours of study before the exam and that is all. Music 2 is much harder and it has more theory which is boring for me. Hehe I don't want a study group where we meet - just msn.
