    true. first year maths favors maple (except for finance maths), but i was referring to the 4 years of engineering courses as a whole - we didn't use maple anymore after 1st year maths, whereas we use matlab a lot for all our other courses...

    KD is right. it depends on meeting certain standards - in the case of elec engineering, EE&T use their own method of calculating honors WAM which places more emphasis on the senior year subjects. for elec engineering, WAM >65 = honors class 2 division 2 WAM >70 = honors class 2 division 1...

    having spent most of my time in those buildings, i can't agree more! :D that is the nicest thing i've ever heard anyone say about the ee building, lol.

    is it just me or is phys1121...

    back when i did phys1131 we had our midterm on a saturday morning with only short answer/calculation questions, which is still preferable since we get marks deducted for every incorrect answer in multiple choice questions (on all my core subjects except physics)...
