    Not Showing Working?

Thanks for your help. Sometimes there might be a question where you're unable to manipulate the equation to find an x-value or something, but you can sub in educated guesses and it turns out to be correct.

    Not Showing Working?

Do you still get full marks for writing a correct answer without showing any working? If its a 2-3 marker?

    Question missing in trial exam....

You really need some perspective if you think cancer is in any way comparable to something as trivial as dealing with a missing question in an exam....

    Question missing in trial exam....

Everyone noticed, people just kept it quiet. I personally didn't say anything because, being ranked first, it's less likely ranks will change much with a shorter/easier test. I guess its fair enough, just surprised they didn't leave it out considering it was an hour in.

    Question missing in trial exam....

My school's economics trial had a short answer question missing (10 marks). An hour into the exam (of 3 hours) a student alerts a teacher and they go and get the question which we had to do. Is this fair/allowed? I know it threw a few people's time management off and they struggled to finish...

    Stupidest Test

I will be for sure, along with about 20 others...but are the teachers likely to set a new test? Most of the teachers will have too much pride to admit that they screwed up so much that the test is unassesable.

    Stupidest Test

This is exactly what happened to me. If they were to simply discount the questions from the wrong topic (the whole ELEVEN of them), which one teacher was discussing, i'd be absoloutely screwed because i did all of those instead of some others from the correct topic.

    Stupidest Test

I see what you mean, but if they had given us a modern history test wouldn't it have been "fair" for everyone as well. Don't mean to be one of those whingers, its just annoying, and not really fair for those who didn't work 2 months ahead. Just wondering, is there any limitations on making a...

    Stupidest Test

    No, only "maintaining a balance"

    Stupidest Test

Of course they are perfectly entitled to set a difficult test, but they aren't entitled to ask questions on a topic we haven't covered yet and was especially specified to NOT be in the exam.

    Stupidest Test

So i just did the stupidest test i've ever seen....It was a biology assessment for the topic maintaining a balance, but it had 11 marks worth of questions on the wrong topic, blueprint of life, which is 20% of the marks for the test, was way too long, with 55 marks for only 50 minutes- nobody in...
