does the university you go to matter in terms of getting a job?
yes it does, I've been to numerous graduate employer presentations, and on all most ever occasion the presenter has conveyed that their are grad quotas for each Go8 (they like diversity), with Adelaide and UWA and Monash having the lowest, and with USyd, UMelb and ANU having the highest.
