So people stop asking. Can someone post the estimated exam marks for, say, raw marks of 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 / 84? Just so this can be used as a reference.

Hmm, that's a shame you've stuffed up English. But you should be heaps happy with all your other marks. At this stage maybe 96, but go well in the externals for English and you might see a 98 or so.

I'd say around 93. Could push to maybe a 95 with a strong external performance.

At this stage a 90 doesn't look very likely. An 80 at least is a given, though. Just work hard for the externals and just know that you put in your best effort, you could see a mark of high 80s

Remember, because you're coming 1st/2nd for most of your subjects, your final ATAR will pretty much be based on your performance in the externals. Smash them, and you could see a 99, don't go so well and you could see a 80. And it's all relative, so the actual raw mark is irrelevant.

I wouldn't be using ATAR calculators unless you're pretty certain as to what your final scaled marks will be (and well, no one knows that). Just remember, it's half down, half to go. Go hard out for the HSC and a 60 (or perhaps even more) is very achievable. Just reach your potential, it's all...

Best thing about not doing so well internally means that with a great external performance you can push your ATAR up quite a lot. And you're right, there are always pathways to get into what you want to do. They take a little more time, but hey, you're doing what you enjoy.
