You sound busy. o_0 I'm trying to keep a relaxed study routine for now and make the most of my holidays. You know, because that's what they're called.
For us, apparently the content for Modern History is changing to Asia (I'm clueless as to how I'm suppose to prepare for that)... which is why...
Matthew Gray Gubler!! He's from Criminal Minds and he plays Spencer. To update on my results, got Band 4's in Science/Maths (1 mark off Band 5, I suck at skills) and Band 5's for the rest. I'm surprised at my HSIE results, I was seriously bullsh*tting every word I was writing.
Kind of...
Yep. I could say more but I'll keep that under the lid for now.
Okay this is sort of good, kind of leaning into Legal a bit. If what is being taught is interesting and I'm good at it, I don't mind studying properly for it. Business is my back up. It's just in case I start to hate learning...
I'm laughing at those in Year 10 who are still going to school or just ended recently. School ended for me in Week 7. I'm coming in on Monday to retrieve my results.
I'm did poorly in HSIE, because I studied for the wrong content and got lazy trying to study everything. We had two sets of SC...
Well, I don't know ;-;. I have an older sister who did LS and she pretty much aced all of her assignments. She keeps constantly saying "Oh, why are you doing Legal? I never pictured you as a law person."
The reason why I chose Business is just in case I don't want to go into something techy...
I see. Well, the thing is I don't have the option of dropping a subject down to 12 units after a term and a half... so I kind of need to decide earlier between Business and Legal Studies. I originally had 13 Units because I chose SOR1, but I didn't do any 1 Unit subjects which is why told me to...
WMM = Crap
The difference between iMovie and WMM imo is that iMovie has more fancy transitions, and a nicer looking UI. If you ask me I hate both of those programs. It's too simple. I've tried using both and compared to Adobe Premiere CS4+, they suck.
If you've used Garage Band before and you...
Hi.
Now that I've got your attention, I have a quick question. These are my subjects:
Business Studies
English Advanced
IPT
Legal Studies
Mathematics
Modern History
Studies of Religion II
Which count up to a total of 14 units. I'm concerned about the workload; I'm interested in participating...
Okay, thanks for sharing your experiences, they've been really helpful.
@lockedbox I took your advice and looked at a past paper. Didn't seem too hard to me, so I'm quite relieved.
Dayum girl (or boy haha) 3 Units for English/Math go you! haha, I don't think I'm the kind of person who would want to see extra English/Math
Same, I'm jumping with joy that Geography is out the door. We were never taught the basics of Geography needed for SC... and our school decides to teach...
Well lucky you, they let you do SOR1. I'm transferring schools for Year 11 and 12 and the Asst. Principal made me pick up SOR2.
I'm scared sh**tless for the next 2 years, especially because I'm doing 14 UNITS in Preliminary Year.
Business Studies
English Advanced
IPT
Legal Studies [A bit...
Okay, thank you for your opinion. But if I find the the workload overwhelming with 14 units, I'm probably going to switch Legal Studies to Sports, Lifestyle and Recreation.
How difficult is SOR2? What's involved with this subject?
I'm asking because I'm worried about the workload, as I have 14 units next year in 2012.
I originally picked SOR1, but the Asst. Principal swayed me to pick SOR2 or pick up a 1U subject at the interview. I chose SOR2 because I...
