Hi guys, got a 97.95 ATAR in 2012 - decided to do a BCom @ USYD as opposed to doing Law/Business at UTS. I now realise I really want to study law, and a transfer internally to USYD doesn't look feasible. Hence, I ask: Can I use my ATAR to transfer to UTS Law/Business?

Got an Access Scholarship for my B Com. degree - so stoked! Really, really need it too. Amazing news. Mum was nearly in tears haha.

Also UNSW is probably 15-20 mins away by public transport, USYD is about 30-35... so location isn't such a pickle.

Law has always been an interest of mine. I guess my question really is just which one is easier to transfer into? A lot of people have said either, there seems to be non general consensus, so quite confused.

ATAR of 97.95 should be sufficient for a first round offer, right? If not, I can get 2 bonus points for Band 6 English which takes me to 99.95... must be fine?

So theoretically someone with a 97.95 ATAR that is eligible for 2 bonus points at UNSW, is guaranteed to be offered to do Commerce at UNSW, right?

But with a twist. I'd say this is a somewhat unique situation. Basically, with my ATAR I can get into the double degree of B Business/B Law combined at UTS next year straight away. At UNSW, however, I cannot enter into the double degree of B Com/B Law immediately as my ATAR is not high enough...

People said 90-96, 94 was very popular. Ended up with 98.55.
