    Sorry for replying to an old thread, but I can't help myself. Every neuron in my brain is screaming "Confirmation Bias" right now. If you deliberately search for patterns you will find them regardless of whether or not they actually exist. It could well have been a coincidence, and probably was.

    Failed a subject... consequences?

    Damn that's annoying.... can I do SCIF1131 instead? I'd be bored doing the same course twice. History and philosophy of science seems much more interesting than SCIF1121. If anyone has done SCIF1131 before, I'd appreciate if you tell me what it's like.

    So... I'm in first year of Advanced Science, and failed SCIF1121. My other results are good (two HDs and a D, 91 in MATH1141 and 90 in PHYS1131). My academic standing is still considered "good". This course is compulsory for the Advanced Science program but not explicitly a prerequisite for any...
