I am enrolled as full-time but does it make a difference if I enrol in 2 subjects instead 3 (i.e. have a part-time schedule for 1 semester)?

Hi, I'm currently doing a Commerce degree. For the coming semester, instead of the usual 4 I am thinking of taking 2 instead as I have a part time job I'm trying out and don't think it is wise to do 4 subjects. Is it ok/normal to do this? I have heard someone say the minimum I can do is 3...
