isnt it just like the school submits a mark /100 and then after our external performance, it gets moderated higher or lower depending on how my cohort did, and then i just get the mark that corresponds with my rank?

What do you mean your marks are horrid? Raw marks in assessments don't matter, rather how you rank among your cohort. And frankly, your ranking well in everything besides ancient history. Solid school ranking, solid ranks, I'd guess 97.3 Your going to need to improve ancient history definitely...
