I was thinking of using Christmas Carol as my ORT but i was thinking whether it was too simple / easy? Should I go for the Great Gatsby, or wuthering heights instead?
What do you guys think?
IMO the world communicates is just a lengthy topic that requires constant revision and practice.
Electrical energy at home is the hardest topic for me to grasp tbh
Moving about is just calculations and some understanding . Easy with practice. It's just maths and formulas
Cosmic engine is like...
dude i highly suggest putting some effort into physics and maths. on contrary to zoink's statement - you dont have to study harder, study smarter. im a professional bludger and year 11 was also a bad year for me but devoting a little time for maths really helped me, loads. i do most of my maths...
You really dont. it might assist you a little bit, but not by much.
Uni will just recycle high school stuff in its first week, whats recommended is taking HSC Mathematics though.
if you get 80ish in Physics you will get your goal lad. 4th sounds very good, good job! with E&E you would need an 85+ raw mark, but if youre going in second place and are well prepared for the HSC you should go very well!
>despise humanities
are we the same person?? lol
you can always pull up once you hit Yr 11, try french for a week and drop it if u already have bad tastes from it
you've got a good subject selection, btw.
i heavily suggest concentrating on Maths Extension 1, Chemistry and Physics. If you do...
advanced has a little bit more work than standard and a lot more deciphering when it comes to Shakespeare
But you are most likely to get the same mark as you did in Standard. if youre struggling, best you stay in STD. if its the interests of the texts that does influence your mark, read and...
You seem very attentive and organised. Ive been to a bad school as well before Year 10 (what a mistake that was... so many opportunities missed).
I'm not going to repeat what others said here but here's my advice:
IF (and I say, if) there is not much work involved to get 90+'s in your exams...
i know its a dumb question will it go to my atar? can i do distance education and complete prelims 3U (+1st term HSC) over summer? I'm very dedicated to Maths and if the foundation lies on 2U i can soar through 3U if i try
I actually had separate methods but I strongly recommend handwriting, preferably using a battery taped or banded to your pen so you can write faster in the exams. Heavily recommend using: 99c artline 4colour pen, highlighters, maybe inkjoy pastel pens for titles and keywords as they are...
still very hard, 3 sciences + 2u + 3u + 4u maths
what i heard 4U Maths is pretty different, as for 3U its not very different and smashing 3U means you can smash 2U easily. But then theres chemistry and physics to devote time into as well, physics is very theory-y in highschool :( biology is...
That's very nice of your school... once we had a Chemistry prac and written task and the teacher gave us the notification 10 days before the task with 10 experiments to study and 4 of the experiments weren't done so we had to cram it all in within a 3 day space. Our English department is very...
Okay dude really suggest concentrating on Eco and Maths (esp XT1) as they scale the highest but at the same time dont leave your other subjects in a ditch.
Maths you have to practice continuously, take about 15-60 minutes per day on Maths once Yr 12 begins otherwise it'll only get harder. Make...
Unfortunately the same deliveries include my prescribed texts, but LUCKILY! I have seen one of the prescribed texts before huehuehue but good advice!
and Thank you for the comfort BLIT!
anyway what were you guys up to during the days prior Year 12?
I personally... have done nothing. Ay. (My textbooks haven't arrived yet either... worrisome)
