the same basically applies to fractions & roots, unless it specifies to leave it a certain way i usually leave the answer as rational & simplified as it can be

unless the question specifies to leave the negative indices negative, it's usually (probably) safer to leave it with no negative indices bc that's the most simplified version of the equation??? usually. i think both should be fine though?? i just get scared of missing a "simplified form" when...
