umm i really don't understand the interplay of rankings and uai/marks, i've just been told ranking is V.important. i came first in 6 of my subjects and 3rd in the rest, does that mean i get the best mark for each subject regardless of raw hsc mark, and will this make a significant contribution...

i'm applying for fashion/textile design at uts. it's a uai of around 90 to get into. the other suggestions eg whiteshouse and tafe (i've read articles and heard that the tafe course is very productive) are also great options it just depends if you're looking for a degree or a diploma.. :)

my dream course cut- off didn't change. ha, still at 90.. still, at least it didn't go up. the uac guide's art express cover is dismal, i must say.

I'm doing the history ext course at the moment and in need of some serious assistance. i have my trial exam coming up in less than two weeks, the project was hell, and i'm worried my hsc score for extension will lower my overall uai. does anyone know about hist ext uai scaling?
