    Thoughts?

I thought it was a fair paper, quite easy and didn't really ask about any of my weaknesses (except buffers). Lots of calculations too :D oh btw, what were the answers for the HCl concentration and the volume of hydrogen needed for the same amount of energy as 80L of petrol or whatever it was?

    Section I: Part A - Multiple Choice

I couldn't get the answert for q11, got two different answers (using theta= 40 or 50 degrees), but neither were on the multiple choice. Just put the one closest to the answers, D, which seems right judging by this thread :D

No poll. I think it probably will count for me, I have 11 units but it'll be one of my extensions that won't count I think.

    General thoughts: Mathematics

I more or less pwned it, I think (late because this site has been database error-ing for ages). Surprisingly got all of 10 out, 9 fucked me a bit though. Even managed to save myself about 5 marks worth of stupid mistakes :D

Who reckons 9C and 10B were the hardest question???

Agreed, 9c was a slut of the highest order.

Why do people always go on about pages written?

Our teacher told us we needed to go into the second booklet for each essay to get a band 6... could comeone please tell me she's talking out of her arse?

    how many pages per section?

Did about 14 for each, but I was writing on every second line at the recommendation of my teachers, since my handwriting is atrocious, so really about 7.

Haha, you'd be surprised mate, even one of my teachers does it :S

    Imaginary vs Imaginative

I have noticed that a lot of people mistakenly refer to Imaginative Journeys as "Imaginary" Journeys. Do you think this will annoy the HSC markers, are people likely to lose marks for writing it?

Was it ok if u disagreed with section 3's statement?

I either strongly agreed or disagreed for each paragraph (which dealt with a different imaginative journey). Like, for example, the imaginative journey the audience are taken on in "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" by the Beatles doesn't require a strong human spirit at all; its purpose is...
