Huns and goths are pretty much the main civs. You rarely ever see any other civ be played in world tournaments (exception of viking on water). and tbh, if you got to imperial age against goths and you're both in an equalish position, the goth will overrun you, I don't care what magestic...

But those are all useless in AOE with the unblanaced civs. If you really really wanted to take it to those levels, the same civs will always win.

But thats just taking the hard aspects out of the game... map control? I dunno maybe its just me that I kill off someone before the whole "lets do the massive army" thing starts, and if a player doesnt have the military advantage, that means their strategy is bad (assuming totally equivalent...

aww it least make it proper tournament style... For two players, size Tiny Revealed Map: the blackest possible (think its called standard oO) and the map could be decided on, or if theres no agreeing, random map.
