    Medicine, "getting in"

Medical schools don't want people who do nothing but study (and as a current medical student, I can't reinforce that enough). While achieving high marks is certainly important- as is, obviously, learning about how to treat illnesses when you are a medical student- they are not what make a good...

    Type Two's!!!!!!!!!!!

That's all I did- $2 second hand- and it got me 90+ scores in all sections. I can't stress enough to people- don't waste your money on prep courses.

Who will be starting med March 1 2004?

I have to agree- I think the UMAT prep courses are overpriced and unnecessary. Of course, they probably do help to improve your score, but you certainly don't *need* to do one to get in :)

    Exams

Universities do not make concessions for students who have poor English writing skills. Universities cannot legitimately graduate you if you can't complete the course requirements (well, most universities, anyway). If you think that writing essays will hinder your academic progress, perhaps...

uh wat uni courses do u recommend

Just make sure to put a course with a UAI cut-off of ~70 down the bottom of your UAC preferences, Frigid! (in case you leave out an essay in your English exam, for example)

Well, you need to use a probe to see the deeper structures of the limb/organ. You can't really see much from the surface.

    medicine

Is medicine only an option if you get in straight after year 12? Don't give up that easily- lots of people don't start medicine until their twenties or even thirties. Unless you *really* want to do commerce/law... I've never understood why so many people who want to do medicine turn around...

uh wat uni courses do u recommend

Perhaps you should look at some uni websites or talk to your career advisor, if you have "no clue". Picking a uni course isn't really something you should take too lightly, ergo it is not a decision you should base on the opinions of your peers from an internet bulletin board! What kind of...
