    Tape recorders? Are they allowed?

Thanks for all that advice everybody. I'll probably buy a cheap recorder, such as the ones which you guys mentioned. Annegelic, that would be great - but I'm not sure if the do/don't do it. The only downside from taping lectures, from what i've heard - is that some people actually 'sell'...

    Tape recorders? Are they allowed?

I was just wondering... Can I tape-record lectures? It will make life so much easier, coming home with my lecture taped and I can listen to it again and finalise my study notes. I've always been bad at writing notes whilst the teacher was speaking... I tried doing it in some of my lessons...

I'm just curious ;) I'm new to University Life and to be honest, For me now it seems rather daunting. So much to do and learn. It seems completely different than school, and from many peoples perpectives, University is usually the best part of a persons life. So I'm asking people whom...

when can we check the cut-offs?

Hmm well thats an intricate problem. My guess is that UAC will have to randomly select two of them but that situation occouring would be rather rare, as most people differ in their marks at least by a .05

    Another course cancelled...

Unitrack is basically a 'trial run' of university. UWS has a system where you pay tuition fees to study two units at University, and these units can be in any area. I picked two units in their Arts and Teaching Departments. This means that I will study these two units for one semester, after...
