no i wouldn't and thats the point of the whole thing. I can respect a female friend... i mean to me some of them are just 'one of the boys'....and im not going down that path.....

i personally feel that it is up to the individuals.... i mean i think that maybe at 17 or 18 someone who is 8+ yrs older than you might just be too old, but if you waited till you were 20 or 21, then that same age gap would be more 'socially acceptable' if i can put it that way. But having said...

my and my then g/f planned it for her 16th b'day.... in the grand scheme of things (hindsight is a wonderful thing) it wasn't all that romantic really..... in a park on a blanket beside my car..... but all things considered, it really wasn't that bad....
