Re: Re: Yay!! There's alot of reading there. And be prepared to be arguing with hard core lefties in class discussions for P.E.

You should wait for your first lectures before deciding whether to buy textbooks or course-readers.

    enrollment

You pay for the manicured lawns. Better than the concrete ones at UTS don't you think? It is a joke, the lawns get better treatment than we do. And the union food is a joke.

    1st year subjects

Perhaps you might like to try psychology with management? I really don't see why people would be interested in studying management though. Firstly, its a "hands on" subject where you learn more from experience rather than a textbook. Secondly, I doubt you'd jump from graduating to a...

    majors....

The whole point of this one major appraoch by the faculty is that employers have asked for more all rounded graduates with skills in a variety of areas which is why the one major with one or more minors has been introduced. 3 majors is a big commitment, extra units, more time etc. I believe...

    Latham or Howard?

Not surprising, Latham is more popular with a population of uni students. Someone said it best when they wrote: "What's worse, calling someone an arselicker or being one". Latham all the way!

    honours, anyone?

Yup. you get to put on your resume BA (Hons) or BEc (Hons) which looks snazzy and is extremely appealing to employers. 65 or below for your honours year = FAIL.

    More people prefer USYD!

USyd is getting a massive redevelopment and the new law facility is just one aspect of it. As for sporting facilities. USyd has 2 pools on campus and the pool in Victoria Park is only a short walk away.

Welcome to Usyd Business and Economics!!!

Try and do similar subjects in the BEc degree as you would for the BCom in first year. Get a credit average, distinction would be better and apply to transfer!

Welcome to Usyd Business and Economics!!!

Yes, regardless of degree. If you choose the unit say WORK 1001 then you'll be doing the same stuff and those doing economics, arts or even science degrees if they choose that major.

    stupid question..

lol, graphs? It really depends. I'm sure some of the class of '01 will tell you that USyd sometimes inflates the UAI cutoffs to make the courses more appealing. I know a friend who got into a course despite getting a UAI .35 below the cutoff.

    LAw Transfer

Lazarus is right, you'll get in easy lexie.
