^ Yeah, that was pretty much it!! Reading through the paper, it didn't seem allll that hard, but diff to previous years... but they stuck an "x" here and a ! there and screwed the questions.

Bah... my whole maths class has one. Our teacher recommended we buy one for exams at the start of year 11... so we did. :)

Actually, on Sunday, I was tossing up between studying mechanics or harder 3-unit, and calculated how much each topic is worth in some past exams. Mechanics is usually only one easy question and one hard, so about 15, whereas harder 3-unit was about 45. :)

I took my mathaid in - noone stopped me. It has the basic formula on it, but you should know that anyway. P.S. The one in the picture ^ is the exact same one as mine.

Actually, that ^ is incorrect. If the marks your school send to the BOS are say, between 50 and 90, and the marks that your class gets in the exam is between 50 and 90, then the aligned mark WON'T be good. I think it actually might be worse off. BUT, if everyone even does a LITTLE study, and...

Yeah, me too, except I had about 20 minutes left. I do the MC and short answer in one hour. BUT, our school doesn't let us leave early. One, probably because at least we can scrape some marks if we stayed. Two, because it's a distraction to others. And I agree. It's really a huge put-off...
