    Metabolic Biochemistry help!

Did it in 2008. Was on ~90% going into the final, did shit, and ended up on 57% overall. Therefore I must have failed the final. Badly. But I got a P. So I don't think its absolutely necessary to pass it.

    Trouble with Online Enrolment

I just recieved a late round offer to UTS. I accepted on UAC, and it says that acceptance of my offer has been recorded. But when I enter my UAC Application number (which I assume is the same number I login to UAC with) to enrol online on UTS site, it says it can't find it. Does it take them...

    Quick Question(s)

I got accepted to BSci at USYD, and have to enrol in person on Tuesday 23rd. However, I'm waiting to see if I get a late round offer at a different university, which is of course after this date. So if I get the late round offer and accept it on UAC, does this immediately recind my enrollment at...

    Main Round Offer Confusion

Is withdrawing from a Main Round Offer so you can accept a Late Round Offer something you do in person, or is it something you do online via UAC??? Because enrollments for your main round offer may be before the e-release of late round offers.

    Multiple choice

Looks like a 19/20 for me, i put 18(B). So assuming that's wrong...

    Was it just me...

Yeh, it was a big clue in the footer saying that the message "wont" be transmitted "securely," when all that stuff always is.

    Band 6 cut off?

For 2001: A (45-52)/84 Raw Mark --> A 45/50 Aligned mark. That's from another thread on this site. The 2001 exam was simple compared to 2006. I know those marks aren't "exactly" accurate, but I would have to say that the state as a whole would have to have gone better in 2001 than 2006. I...

Roughly what outa 120 will give me 75+

It's all ranks, if 92/120 -->90%+ that means this is what the top achievers, or top band of students, got in the exam.

    Length contraction???

    Pretty much.

    Length contraction???

I concede that it is verly likely 0.3, based on a similar type of question: A space ship travels to Alpha Centuri which is about 4 light years away from earth. How far does this distance appear to you if you are on a space ship traveling at 0.99c ? The...

Raw Marks In 3 Unit Hsc

Based on how the state went in the exam, it was deemed hard.

    Length contraction???

    I got approx. 1.14 x 10-30kg, an increase in mass from 9.109 x 10-31kg

    Length contraction???

Exactly from the exam: The distance between the anode and the screen, as measured in the electron's frame of reference is 0.24 m. Calculate this distance as measured in the laboratory frame of reference. Accept it...I'm just...right.
  15. G

    Length contraction???

The...electron...is...contracting. Therefore, the anything external to the electron, relative to the electron, appears to be longer. The only thing contracting is the electron. It is the thing travelling at relativistic speeds.
  16. G

    Length contraction???

How about I contract your head Jared. Btw your closer than these 0.3 guys.
  17. G

    Length contraction???

Think of a train, if the electron was the train having itself contracted as it is an object travelling at relativistic speeds, when it looks out the window at the distance it is travelling, it would detect that the outside world or its track, has become longer, 0.24m. Therefore, we see it as...

    Length contraction???

Alright, it's time for me to settle this. The distance between the anode and the screen, as measured in the electron's frame of referencei,s 0.24 m. Calculate this distance as measured in the laboratory frame of reference. The electron, having contracted will view the distance between the...
