I need to take a week off to train for a job. How do I go about this? I am a first year digital media student??

you really only need to tell your tutors so you can grab the work for the week. tell, not ask.

yea, the mentallity in university is that if you must skip out on classes/lectures/etc, its your responsibility to tell the related people and to catch up on the work yourself... its all on you..
