1st year units yo (1 Viewer)

Due to exemption from ecmt1001 (done statistics in 1st year maths) i have a free first year econ&business unit that i must do and I'm thinking of overloading this semester to ge it out of the way. Any suggestions on what unit? I was thinking either marketing or claw.

also what's the workload and assessment like in infs1000. From what i've heard its easy and I'm hoping to just breeze through it...

My personal opinion on this subject is that is sucks, badly. I hate it. But then I hate most tech/IT/computer related stuff so thats makes me biased.
The assessments so far have been pretty easy. Workload: there hasnt been one really. It's been boring as. I've done nothing all semester. But the exam will probably be heaps hard. The textbook is written in code, I swear. I don't understand any of it.
I only did this subject cos its compulsory for B.Commerce. I would never recommend it to someone if they didn't HAVE to do it. But like I said, I'm biased.

I'm doing Marketing Principles next semester. I've heard it's not too hard. But people either love it or hate it :s.

Haven't done it myself, but from what I've heard, it's not the difficulty (I think it's actually quite easy), but rather the sheet inanity of it.

yea i was thinking about doing claw1001, it sounds interesting

i just have to make sure there are no significant clashes with my other subjects.

i allready have a lecture clash with infs as it is ...

Yeah, CLAW1001 is good: a very basic overview of heaps of legal concepts, so it doesn't really get too repetitive (tradeoff: it doesnt really go indepth into anything).

MKTG1001... has been my least favourite of all my marketing subjects, and if you have no tolerance for marketing lingo and abstract concepts etc, you might end up hating it. But its a very good overview of a major, if you think you have any interest in the subject area...

De Roos is a Microeconomics specialist. He doesn't tend ot take macro. If you do macro, avoid anyone named Atta...
