The journey, not the arrival, matters'

Discuss this stament, focusing on how composers of texts represent the concept of the journey.

In your answer, refer to your prescribed text, ONE text from the prescribed stimulus booklet, Journeys, and at least ONE other related text of your own choosing.

PS U could have looked in another forum plus i'm lazy :D

This question is very easy. Look at crossing the red sea and relating it to another one that fits well in the stimulus booklet such as the road not taken.

ooh i remember now.. I did it lol.

I used Feliks:

from a speech I did:
...sweeping his garden ‘ten times around the world’ further implies that Feliks is in his own world despite being in a foreign land.
What Feliks has learnt on his journey is important, he now appreciate life, his comment “but I’m alive”, combined with a confessional statement from the poet saying that his father was “happy as I have never been”...

and Postcard (you better have good material to use this.) If not, it'll backfire at you. heres what you can write about it:

That it blends the importance of the journey with the significance of the destination; which acts as a catalyst for the recollection of past events and as an incentive for future travel.

If you're afraid, just use some common one that doesn't set you apart like... Crossing the red sea. I'm sure your teacher has some points

Stimius: The town where time stands still.
"moved rather than to move". traveling is a search for the ‘genii loci’.

what more should i say? :p
